Karon Beach

Another popular resort is Karon, about 3.3km in length this is the third longest beach in Phuket and is close to being geometrically straight. Karon Beach also has the bizarre attribute of having sand that appears to squeak underfoot. Karon Beach should not be overlooked when planning a family vacation to the island.

Freedom Beach

For those seeking a more secluded and pristine beach experience, Freedom Beach, nestled between Patong and Karon Beach, is a hidden gem accessible by boat or a short trek through lush jungle. Powdery white sands, and crystal-clear waters, await you along this 300-meter stretch of beach. For snorkelling and scuba-diving this beach is one of the best spots to visit in Thailand without-aqua colourful coral reefs. Vibrant marine life can be observed in this unspoilt secluded paradise.
