Dr DisRespect and Ninja Clash on Social Media Over Multi-Streaming

Prominent FPS and battle royale streamers, Tyler “Ninja” and Herschel “Dr DisRespect,” engaged in a social media clash today. In this exchange, Dr DisRespect appeared to make disparaging remarks about creators who simultaneously stream on various platforms. For those unfamiliar, Tyler is renowned for being one of the most popular content creators who actively simulcasts on a range of websites, including Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and Twitter.

Dr DisRespect’s fans recognize him for his trademark energetic antics during streams, and his social media posts reflect his on-screen persona. In a post on X (formerly Twitter), he seemed to call out creators who simulcast on multiple platforms, insinuating that they do so because they lack the skills to succeed on a single platform.

It wasn’t lost on the community that this post was aimed at Ninja. Streamer SypherPK, who also engages in multi-streaming, attempted to spark banter between Ninja and Dr DisRespect by tagging his fellow Fortnite creator.

This attempt proved successful, and Tyler wasted no time in responding.

Ninja fired back with, “Says the guy who can’t stream on the biggest platform,” referring to Dr DisRespect’s ongoing Twitch ban.

Ninja was one of the first creators to openly multi-stream. He terminated his Twitch partnership in September of the previous year to broadcast on other platforms like YouTube and Kick. Additionally, he was among the most vocal critics of the Amazon-owned platform when they introduced policies that prohibited simulcasting.

However, with the Twitch CEO’s announcement at TwitchCon about a complete reversal in the multi-streaming policy, Tyler has returned to his original platform as a partner. Given his recent advocacy for multi-streaming, it was clear that Dr DisRespect’s comments would elicit a response.

Ninja playfully teased the Doc about his continued inability to stream on Twitch, even though it remains the top live-streaming platform according to him.

The Fortnite streamer, who is currently in the middle of a 24-hour stream to celebrate the release of the OG map in Chapter 4 Season 5, responded to the post with humor.

Naturally, their exchange on X has generated a lot of buzz among fans, with reactions pouring in from social media, including posts from fellow livestreamers like TimTheTatman and others.

Dr DisRespect’s mysterious Twitch ban has been a topic of discussion for years. While he has been streaming on YouTube for some time, the Two-Time Champion recently expressed his desire to explore other platforms, including Elon Musk’s X.
