Boasting a formidable 816 horsepower and a peak torque of 1,420 Newton-meters, the Mercedes-AMG SL 63 S E Performance stands as the most potent SL model ever created.
These impressive specifications translate into acceleration from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.9 seconds and a remarkable top speed of 317 km/h for the roadster.
The collaboration between the 4.0-liter V8 biturbo engine and the AMG Electric Drive Unit is evident. The high-performance battery boasts a 6.1kWh capacity, 70kW continuous power, and 150kW peak power, providing a pure electric driving range of 13 km.
Eight AMG Dynamic Select driving programs: Electric, Battery Hold, Comfort, Smoothness, Sport, Sport+, Race, and Individual offer a wide range of driving experiences, from efficient to dynamic.
Towards the rear, the SL 63 S E Performance features an integrated plug-in loading flap, with the model's name prominently highlighted in red. Notably, newly designed grooved trapezoidal twin tailpipe trims adorn the exterior. The distinctive "E PERFORMANCE" fender badge on the side signifies the exclusive drive system.
To tackle all the power, the SL 63 S E Performance comes with roll stabilisation, all-wheel drive, rear-axle steering, and a ceramic high-performance composite brake system as standard.
The driver can select four different levels of recuperation power that can help feed over 100kW of power back into the battery.
As standard, the hybrid roadster rides on 20-inch aero-optimised multi-spoke AMG light-alloy wheels.
The SL 63 S E Performance contains numerous AMG and hybrid-specific displays and functions. Exclusive menu items such as “AMG Performance” underline the sporty character.
