Ranbir Kapoor, influenced by his mother's July 8 birthday, considers the number 8 lucky. He admires its elegant design and association with infinity. Notably, his first Jeep in the early 2000s bore a license plate featuring the digit 8.
Ranbir Kapoor openly shares a close bond with his mother, Neetu Singh, keeping her on speed dial. He enjoys her homemade dishes, relies on her for his diet plan, and reportedly receives Rs. 1,500 weekly as pocket money. Rumors suggest she used to trim his nails until he moved out.
Ranbir Kapoor is a versatile artist with training in Jazz, Ballet, diction, dance, horse riding, tabla, and drums. Enthralled by the guitar, he extensively learned and carried it everywhere, notably showcasing his skills in 'Rockstar' (2011) as Jordan.
Ranbir Kapoor began his film journey as an assistant director in 1996, working on 'Prem Granth' and later assisting his father, Rishi Kapoor, in 'Aa Ab Laut Chalen.' While his acting career started in 2007 with 'Saawariya,' his early experiences as an assistant director influenced his eventual success.
Ranbir Kapoor, since childhood, has faced a nasal septum issue, resulting in a quick pace while eating and speaking. Despite a slight misalignment in the nasal bone, he has opted against corrective surgery, choosing to embrace this unique aspect of himself.
Inspired by his favorite actor Al Pacino, Ranbir Kapoor chose to study acting at the Lee Strasberg Institute. During a course in New York, he produced around 300 short films.
