I still remember my college days, when PVR Cinemas made- watching movies – an experience, instead of just 2 hours of idle visual entertainment.

Those mega audi(s), brilliant food & beverage services and unmatched clean ambiances, changed the way people looked at theaters… and soon it was all about multiplexes… to which no one had any response, when it came to PVR Cinemas.

Come 2017, and PVR Cinemas has taken the game to a whole new level. In a jam-packed event yesterday, that saw Ranbir Kapoor; looking dapper in a grey checked Paul Smith suit, doing the ribbon cutting act, this giant of multiplex chain in association with HP India launched Asia’s first Virtual Reality (VR) Lounge at PVR ECX, Mall of India, Noida.

What’s it for, you ask?
Well, for those who have a tendency of reaching the theatre early, but find nothing to do while waiting for the movie to start, you will now be able to experience a new dimension of entertainment with a rich variety of immersive and interactive content that you would have at your disposal.

This lounge at PVR ECX has four VR pods equipped with latest groundbreaking technology by HP that delivers an unparalleled immersive and interactive experience. From crouching behind turrets to diving on the ground to avoid strafing bullets to seeing a grotesque image lurking nearby, those few intense minutes will surely keep you fastened to the HP VR Lounge.

More so, you would also have access to a whole new library of fascinating and adventurous immersive and interactive content curated from various different genres like drama, fiction, sci-fi, horror, action etc.
